Our Values

As we are instructed in Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” CCMT educates children by adhering to the following core values:

Faith

We believe in the faith traditions of the Catholic Church. It is through this faith standard that we provide students with the ability to make strong ethical choices.

Morality

We believe in instilling morality by teaching students the necessary life skills of respect (for self and others), character and proper behavior.

Personal Responsibility

We believe in instruction of the whole person and the responsibility we hold for ourselves and all of God’s blessed diversity.

Proven Success

Central City Ministry of Toledo (CCMT) has been recognized by the Toledo Blade and Workplace Dynamics for 3-consecutive years as a Top Workplace Organization and was a Better Business Bureau Torch Award Finalist in 2016 for Marketplace Ethics. CCMT was also the award recipient for the Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Ethics in 2019.

As a strategic educational partner of The University of Notre Dame, Lourdes University, and Mercy College of Ohio, CCMT is proud of its successes:

Sending children to inner-city Catholic schools, such as CCMT, reduces crime rates and slows inner-city decay, while increasing community involvement and overall quality of life.
Sending children to CCMT schools saves taxpayer dollars.
99% of CCMT graduates, who remain in the Catholic school system, graduate from high school.
95% of all Toledo Diocesan students, who remain in the Catholic school system, go on to higher education.
